Just got a message on my STB that from 2nd August, MSM channels are going a-la-carte.

Includes SET, Sab, Pix, Kix, Mix, Six, AXN, Animax, Pal, Max, Max 2, SET HD, Six HD and Pix HD.

I'm so fed up with Hathway, Animax is the only reason why I haven't dumped it otherwise I would've switched to DTH a long time ago. Now they removed Animax too. Can anybody tell me when will these channels be back. I have been thinking of unsubscribing hathway and take airtel tv or tata sky. First 2 out of four star sports channel gone , ten sports not available star movies vh1 and many more not available. Now sony tv sab tv Headlines today sony pix gone . My friend paying rs325 in airtel viewing all the channels and paying 315 and and stuck with 90% channels which I do not see even in my dreams WTF.

Multi-system operator (MSO) Hathway Cable & Datacom has reported an 8 per cent increase in carriage revenue while its operating revenues have seen a dip on a quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) basis in the quarter ended 30 June 2015. what is the price of hathway SD STB in mumbai??
I asked my local cable operator and he said 1500, is this the right price??
what if I get STB from olx or quikr at less price?? from where I can get the activation card??? from hathway or cable operator?? aslo how much they will charge me for the activation card??
Also what is the version of new SD STB as I heard earlier version of STB doesn't get new channels and they have to buy new STB

In a move that would surprise many, multi system operator (MSO) Hathway Cable and Datacom has decided to not renew the contract with MSM Media Distribution (MSMMD) in DAS phase II areas.

As reported first by Indiantelevision.com, the Telecom Disputes Settlement and Appellate Tribunal (TDSAT) on 14 August had directed Hathway to pay Rs 14.56 crore towards subscription dues to MSMMD for DAS Phase I till the expiry of the agreement i.e. 31 October, 2015 in three instalments.

From Last 5 days, subscribers of FDI Digital (Hathway Digital) are facing less signal strength and some channels are facing pixelization issues. Well called up LCO, says some problem from headend/controlroom as they may be changing the equipment's. Issue is still not found why it is happening. Will update the post once the issue is rectified.

Friends, what is the actual progress regarding the addition of MSM channels on Hathway platform?
We consumers are getting really frustrated by this feud.
Are they ever gonna add the channels in their base packs?
Or the channels will be available on a-la carte basis? If so, then what are the prices?
Any help would be highly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi Friends,

Just got a confirmation from Hathway Head office Pune, that re-addition of the MSM channels can happen at any time.

Before 17th Aug most of the MSM channels will be added back in the base pack.

Hi Guys, This is my first review of the FDI Digital Cable STB-Remote-Menu-UI and channels

About the STB: Model No: HDC1000C

The STB was introduced in 2011 as a replacement for the previous Cisco STB DVB-Z260.
From the make of the STB once can make out its build. This STB will work only till this year end.
Once Digitization is done and DAS implemented this STB will stop working.
